go places out of the ordinary
A shelling expedition from Edisto Watersports takes you to places you might never see,
or even imagine.
Huge bull redfish
Richard Witt, a fishing guide from North Carolina, caught this redfish of
a lifetime while fishing with Capt. Dillard.

Witt writes, "I did come clean to everyone that I did not get him on the fly rod but getting a fish like that with any tackle is awesome! I hope the off season is kind to you and I look forward to our next trip together."

Edisto still has an active shrimping fleet which is very much in evidence in late summer and fall.

The shrimping fleet is still active off of Edisto
and the picture perfect scenes are lovely from on shore and off. Better still is the local catch served up hot at one of Edisto's restaurants or you can purchase shrimp in bulk and cook them up yourself after a day out on the water.
